As video players are become defunct now this is something you should definitely get done!
MORE DETAILS BELOW..

These days wedding DVD's are often provided by your wedding photographers. These are very expensive and the ones I have seen haven’t been too classy!
Unlike a lot of companies that advertise this service I don’t just copy the video and return your tapes and the DVD with an exact copy, I add DVD menus and chapters, subtle background music where appropriate (i.e. NOT when people are taking the vows etc!). I add melts and fades, correct colour balance if required and if you allow me to I will edit the whole movie to remove obviously bad shots and only with your input trim scenes to a more sensible length.
In my experience it is best to allow me to try and keep the length of each DVD to less than 70 minutes. This means you get the very best picture quality possible. Other companies tell you they can put 2 or even 3 hours on a single DVD. Well yes I can do that too but you lose a lot of picture quality doing that!
I will cram 2 hours on a single DVD but I would rather give you two DVD's instead if I can’t edit it down to 70 minutes or less.
Let’s face it – most people get extremely bored after about 45 minutes of any home movie!
Once I am happy with the editing I burn a master disk that I retain and burn your copy (or copies). I create a nice DVD case with a design unique to your film, including one or two stills taken from the movie on the cover.
I charge £20 per hour of Video footage. This includes a DVD Menu with as many Chapters as you specify, basic Editing and the customised DVD case.
Extra DVD copies are £7 each.
I will quote for post & packaging once you let me know how many tapes you have and whether you want them returned by Recorded Delivery or Courier etc.
